Flower Tips
Growing seasons for annual flowers is measured in months not years, so adding needed amendments to soil is a must if you want great results. No matter if they are working in clay soils or not, adding soil conditioners will be a plus and do not forget to fertilize whether it be organic or chemical
Selection:
Survey the area to be planted and determine its exposure to the sun. Is it full sun, partial sun, or shady? What height do you need your plant to grow? How large is the area? How many plants do I need?
Planting:
Now that you have prepared the soil and made your selection, plant your plants at the same depth they were grown in the container. After planting is complete, water well. Annual flowers grow so rapidly they will require frequent watering. It is a good idea to supplement your frequent watering with a water soluble fertilizer.
Pick some pretty colors and enjoy!
